You’ll also gain hands-on exposure to emerging AI and verification technologies while building valuable experience in a growing Australian tech company.</p><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Research, identify and compile lists of prospective client organisations using industry directories, professional networks, databases, referrals and other relevant sources.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Assure Docs' technology and services, including identity verification, document verification, biometric authentication, AI-assisted fraud detection, verification workflows and audit-ready reporting.</li><li>Maintain awareness of competing technologies, industry developments, regulatory requirements and changing market conditions relevant to digital verification and compliance solutions.</li><li>Contact and visit existing and prospective business clients, including educational institutions and other organisations requiring identity, document and compliance verification solutions, to identify and develop sales opportunities.</li><li>Consult with prospective clients to understand their existing verification processes, operational requirements, risk concerns and technical needs.</li><li>Recommend appropriate Assure Docs products, platform features and service solutions based on each client's business and technical requirements.</li><li>Explain and demonstrate the technical functionality, capabilities and commercial benefits of Assure Docs solutions to decision-makers and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations and assist prospective customers in understanding how the platform can integrate into their existing verification and compliance workflows.</li><li>Monitor changing customer requirements, market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities and communicate relevant developments to sales management.</li><li>Prepare quotations and commercial proposals and negotiate pricing, contractual terms, service arrangements and credit terms where applicable.</li><li>Complete sales documentation, contracts and client orders and maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer communications.</li><li>Coordinate with internal technical and operational teams to arrange implementation, onboarding, configuration and delivery of Assure Docs services for new clients.</li><li>Liaise between clients and technical teams where necessary to ensure that agreed product and service requirements are correctly implemented.</li><li>Report to sales management on sales activity, prospective opportunities, completed sales, client feedback and the marketability of Assure Docs products and services.</li><li>Follow up with clients following implementation to confirm satisfaction with the platform and services provided.</li><li>Identify and assist in resolving customer concerns relating to products, technical functionality or service delivery by coordinating with relevant internal teams.</li><li>Maintain strong ongoing relationships with clients to identify additional requirements, renewals and further sales opportunities.</li><li>Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, market feedback and other sales records required by management.</li><li>Maintain and submit accurate records of business and sales-related expenses incurred.</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Relevant qualifications (minimum bachelor's degree) and/or professional experience in <strong>technical sales, information technology, SaaS sales, business development, account management or a related field</strong>.</li><li>Experience selling technology, software or other technically complex products or services to business customers.</li><li>Ability to understand technical products and translate their functionality into clear commercial benefits for customers.</li><li>Strong ability to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.</li><li>Excellent communication, presentation and product demonstration skills.</li><li>Strong negotiation, relationship-management and consultative sales skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate confidently with business owners, institutional representatives, compliance teams, technology teams and senior decision-makers.</li><li>An understanding of SaaS platforms, AI technology, digital identity, document verification, RegTech, EdTech or compliance technology would be highly regarded.</li><li>Strong research and market-analysis skills.</li><li>Ability to manage a sales pipeline from prospect identification through to negotiation, contracting, implementation and post-sale follow-up.</li><li>Strong organisational, reporting and record-management skills.</li><li>A proactive, commercially focused and customer-oriented approach.</li></ul>
